Summer Concert

The evening of June 10th was the occasion of our Summer Concert. It took place in Cricklade United Church.

Our aim this year, in addition tour own musical targets, was to raise funds for the Japanese Red Cross Tsunami Appeal.

These funds are supporting 100,000 displaced citizens in community centres. To our delight, five of Mary’s piano pupils from Tokyo entertained us with memorable solos. Our guests also included The Baker’s Dozen, costumed in Medieval dress and singing traditional songs in close harmony. It was a splendid occasion and our Community Choir donated £300 towards the Appeal.

Mary New. Musical Director.

  1. A wonderful evening with very talented young pianists and lots of fun from Bakers Dozen as well as from Sing 4/4.
